Jared Allen Shanklin is a musician‑turned‑audio alchemist with over two decades of experience helping singer‑songwriters discover and convey the heart of their music. 

Beginning his creative path at 16—playing in bands and opening for acts like The Nixons and Tripping Daisy—Jared gained early insight into performance, collaboration, and what makes music resonate. Over 21 years in sound engineering, he ran live and studio sound for Ft. Worth’s Boltneck Studios, developing a mix philosophy rooted in clarity, authenticity, and emotional focus.

Mentored by John Driskell Hopkins—Grammy‑winning founding member of the Zac Brown Band—Jared absorbed an approach that blends musical intuition with deep emotional intelligence. 

At Sound Seer, Jared’s process is profoundly relationship‑centric. He takes the time to know the artist—building trust and attuning to their creative vision. From there, he helps guide each artist toward the spirit of their music, unlocking the emotional truths that lie beneath melody and lyric.
